# Fight your Battle #

1

Face those fears
Kill those demons
You are better than
What you think you are..

Pull yourself up
Try to find a faith
Only you can find and push
Yourselves to a limit..

Dont depend on an angel
Dont wait for a miracle
Nothing ever happens to
Someone with a common man fate..

Find your cause
Change your path
There is only so much you can
Achieve going on this way!

It may be small
But you have your own destiny
A reason you’re still breathing
A reason you don’t know..

Stop making excuses
Stop finding faults in others
Peep inside and see what you got
And what you can make out of it..

Unless you fight the evil
You’ll be thriving on its venom
But again and again you got to try
Don’t give up and never cry!

Run Away..?

Chhupa le sab se
Aa chal kho jae kahin,
Na ho yaad zamana
Bhool jae aasman aur zamin..

Thaam le mera haath
Na jane doon door tujhe,
Bas dekhta mujhe tu rahe
Aur simat jaun main tujh mein hi..

Ho na labb juda
Reh jaae baatein sab unkahi,
Na waqt aage chale
Ruk jae wo peher wahin..

A – Z poetry : “Y”

Here we go… the second last alphabet.. “Y”

why

Y- Y is it so important!

Yellow is hot, is that all I know with Y I thought!

Yet, as I put myself to this task,

Yakking away, the best I could get to was

YATCH!

Yesteryear, Y had been easy-peazy!

Y- Since when did you become so snoopy!

Yogis have said – the key to success is hidden in the answer to all Ys!

Yet how many of us, have managed to go beyond try!

Y do you like this, and this not,

Y do u want to work at all?

Y do you think this is the only way out,

Y do you not want to try anything else out?

Y is the grass greener on the other side?

Y don’t you look at the brighter side!

Y is it so hard to give in?

Y don’t you realize lots u might be missing!

Y do we have to fight?

Y is hope the only good thing?

Y am I asking so many questions…?

Yogi said – only questions lead to answers and answers to success

Y do I want to be successful, again?

A – Z poetry : “T” – another one

let_life_happen

TUSSLES WITH LIFE!

Though we want to enjoy

Though we want to be carefree

Though we want to let it go

Though we want to let life happen

Tis’ we who are scared?

To take the plunge

To do what we want!

There are plenty who say it is a mind-game

There are equally plenty who play lame

Time, duties bound us they say,

Tremble they do, when life makes them its prey!

The question is to live life willed by our wont?

The question is to risk it all and be selfish?

The question is, “Are liabilities important?”

The answer is break free!

The answer is the chains that bind us are our own creations!

The answer is do not get lost, and let life happen!

let life happen

A – Z poetry : “J”

One alphabet as a muse at a time. Here is “J”

An open invitation for poets to attempt to write with N, O, Q, V, X and Z as muses.

Jive along the rhythm of life
Just forget the daily strife
Journey begins when you live
Joyous face without a stiff
Jiggling every bit of your being
Jumping around like no one seeing
Jazzing to the lifelike tunes
Joining everyone for communes
Jealous from none who have more
Jubilant enough to explore
Jade or Jack doesn’t matter
Just enough to fill the platter
Judging none for id or ego
Jilting none like incognito
Joking or kidding all in fun
Justice meant for everyone

a walk to remember !

walk to rememberI take my wallet
I pick up my shawl
I wear my walking shoes
I decide to take a stroll
I walk ahead
And take the right turn
I walk on da dirty streets
The big bungalows make me burn
With envy and greed
To want more and more
As if I could own an ocean
And never return to the shore
I take the next turn
I see the busy market
Vendors in the mood
To sell out all the packets
I see the kids playing
Riding their favourite bikes
And housewives dressed to impress
But talking about price hikes
I smile and walk some more
Locate some places of worship
Wonder if I should pay my respects
Or make a quick exit.
I walk some more
And hear some wedding bells
Turn the other way round
To avoid an encounter with hell.
I see the sun setting down
Behind the biggest hill
I wish I could walk some more
Or better, never to go against my will
To walk away from this world
To run away while I can
Before they turn to me
To change me from who I am!

I’m not wind, who’ll change direction,

I’m not a tide, who’ll be some moon’s slave,
I’m not a sun, who’ll trouble with its intensity,
I’m not snow, who’ll bring you festive times,

I’m not pine which is too high to climb,
I’m not butterfly who deceives with its beauty,
I’m not a brook or river who finds its own way,
I’m not a flying bird who’s lost direction,

I’m a dream which gives you hope,
I’m not reality which is too harsh and “real”,
I’m not a thorn to your footsteps,
I’m not a rock on your way,

I’m not you, and there is no “me”, I just exist within one n all…
Find me, look for me, call me, talk to me, bribe me, or even pay for me,
Fight with me and hit me, kill me or give me another chance,
Hurt me and throw me away, or pull me back and respect me..
But just don’t ignore me…
