Moving On…

move on

Time went on and
so did I
finally gloomy winds
said a good-bye..

The sun rose
and shined with glory
life started to write
yet another story..

The breeze promised me
that the waters will be calm
dreams went on
holding future in my palm..

I saw the moon
which gave me solace
and I walked ahead
to a bright new place..

moving on

pearls-of-wisdom

Pigeons which sing
Peacocks which dance
Petals of love
Perfumes by chance
Purple dreams of
Pleasant tomorrow
Prosperous moments
Parting with sorrow
Purity of emotions
Patience of mind
Peace of heart
Prosperity hard to find
Poems of joy
Portraits of strife
Pictures of bliss
Painting of life
Pearls of memories
Pleasures of rain
Peers and friends with
Promises of meeting again
Painful memoirs of
Poignant distress
Peppered on which lies
Priceless success

Only say what you feel

The Alzheimer’s way

One day at a time

Our motto we say

Oceans of thoughts

Flood your brain tangles

Old and new memories

In front of you dangle

Oxygen needed

When gasping for words

Other modes helpful

Don’t be …absurd!

Galileo – The Goon (by my teenage brother)

As a dedication to my brother who turns 15 today, taking a break from A-Z, to publish a poem written by him recently..

Galileo_Galilei

Decades and decades ago,

In a country far, far away.

There lived a boy named Galileo,

Dead whose future lay.

Arithmetic, literature flew over his head,

Teaching sports was in vain.

He couldn’t differentiate art from scribbles,

What good was his brain?

Standing on a lonely bridge,

One day, he did discover-

That two stones reached the bottom at the same time,

Their mass may be whatever.

Galileo was puzzled,

His curiosity was aroused.

The incidence ignited a fire,

Too bright to be doused.

His answers opened the gates,

To a world that was new.

Once a bumbling boy,

Now rose to the ranks of the distinguished few.

After all, Galileo was talented,

He had a curious mind and a burning passion.

He questioned the world he saw,

Rather than accepting the old-fashioned.

So my fellow fools, I urge you all,

To question everything prevailing.

Follow the wise principle-

‘Stay foolish, Stay craving’

METAMORPHOSIS

Meager is the income that fills the stomach of four,

Miniatures in the busier world lying as the roadside dwellers,

Moonlight is the silken sheet they cover themselves with,

Many times wondering how lucky to be in the nature so clean!

Myriad dreams they rear everyday

“May the happiness of our souls never fade away”

Meandering on the path of life,

Meekly they wish for such a beautiful and simple sight!

metamorphosis 1

Means of income very limited,

Marginal are the desires nicely knitted,

Manifesting true courage of living

Mother of the two stands with her man unconditionally…

Metamorphosis of life brings on road ,the riches,

Momentary asset of stages vanish through the ages,

Moistened eyes with a smile inside,

Music of nature keeps them bright and alive …

Maa…

Moment of my birth was

Miraculous in my Mummy’s life,

Mother for the first time,

Miles and miles of smile.

Million wishes and a billion gifts,

the Moment was just so complete.

mother and daughter

Memories of my first laugh

My first step, my first Maaa,

Music of her lullabies, the moon would enjoy

from Morning Milk to Magical Mathematics,

Momma my first mentor, my first love, my protector,

My support in maddening times,

Master of strength and motivation

Managing, Multitasking home, work and me

One who Matters the most,

Moulded me, my manners, nourished my mind,

Makeup, middle school and more

Mistakes and mischiefs were forgiven, with magnanimous heart

Mandatory manners, prayers and rules

Mighty lectures made me mature, Morals mended my soul.

Mystical mind reader, how’s she always right?

mom daughter

Misunderstandings faded her smile, Manipulated truths hurt

Modern markets, machines, moolah, mobiles, motives

Memories now moisten our eyes

My marriage is now her only agenda,

Making me believe my match will make me complete.

Master of Divinity, How will my moment of Motherhood be?

Mamma’s girl, maybe not me, BUT she’ll always BE.

Love You Are…

Love you are so very

Endearing, you have

Made my life to shine…

Is there any need to

Wonder why it is,

That I long to keep

You mine…

love you are 1

For you are so very

Precious, and as gentle

As a new days dawn…

Is there any good reason

To wonder, why I will

Never leave you long

For you are truly endearing

To me, and more precious

Than lovely gems…

love you are 2

And like a valuable buried

Treasure, I will always keep

Your love deep within.

For there is nothing in this

World, that can move my

Heart the way you do

That is why when I awaken

with the morning sun, my

Thoughts shall only always

Be of you.

Jive along the rhythm of life
Just forget the daily strife
Journey begins when you live
Joyous face without a stiff
Jiggling every bit of your being
Jumping around like no one seeing
Jazzing to the lifelike tunes
Joining everyone for communes
Jealous from none who have more
Jubilant enough to explore
Jade or Jack doesn’t matter
Just enough to fill the platter
Judging none for id or ego
Jilting none like incognito
Joking or kidding all in fun
Justice meant for everyone

“GRAFFITI OF GOD”

Great will be the going when we walk with heads held  high,

Going through the woods dense,

Getting a bit scared for seconds,

Grasping the ends of the string of hope,

Glaciating  on the slimy path as after snow,

Gleaming like a morning star in the night dark,

Groping for the nectar in the course of life so hard!

Gazing onto the aim far off,

Gradually moving towards the horizon,

Golden sun where meets the earth humble,

Glass like, the flowing  stream appears

Glistened with sparkles of azure aura!

Glory to the Creator!

Graciously he sculptured,

Graffiti ! So enchanting on canvas of the Universe!

Galloping fast like a unicorn,

Gregorian chant echoes in the soul,

Gravitational force pulls strong towards the central core of essence

Grand is splendor of life,

God manifests everywhere!

This is a guest post by an avid blogger Soumya. See her blog here. This is what she says about herself –

Passion runs our life and infuses in us the enthusiasm needed. I am a poet by passion and I like to write about almost everything of life. The colors, the music and the divine flow inside.

I am optimistic by nature and love positivity. For me hope and faith can do wonders and I strongly believe  in it.
