# Fight your Battle #

1

Face those fears
Kill those demons
You are better than
What you think you are..

Pull yourself up
Try to find a faith
Only you can find and push
Yourselves to a limit..

Dont depend on an angel
Dont wait for a miracle
Nothing ever happens to
Someone with a common man fate..

Find your cause
Change your path
There is only so much you can
Achieve going on this way!

It may be small
But you have your own destiny
A reason you’re still breathing
A reason you don’t know..

Stop making excuses
Stop finding faults in others
Peep inside and see what you got
And what you can make out of it..

Unless you fight the evil
You’ll be thriving on its venom
But again and again you got to try
Don’t give up and never cry!

A – Z poetry : “Z” another one!

Zest for Zenith

Zonked by the constant struggle,

Zapped the sheer liveliness out of my soul

Zing is all I wanted to smuggle.

Zoomed the difficulties,

Zigzag was the discovery

Zodiac was but filled with immense oppotunities.

Zesty to reach the summit,

Zero tolerance to failure

Zealous spirit gets full credit.

Reach out for the stars,

Zoop is what life might appear

Zags will try to leave some scars.

Zonal could be our view,

Zillions of hurdles on the way

Zest for zenith should never turn blue.

Zeal

A – Z poetry : “Z”

A long awaited – Z !

Zindagi mein kya hai kami,
kyun hai aankhon mein ye nami,
zara sii khushi,
zara sii hasi,
zara saa pyaar,
zara sii takraar,
bhar de zindagi mein bahaar
(What scarcity do we have in life, why are our eyes tearful, a little happiness, a little laughter, a little love, a little tiff, fills life with colours of spring)

Zamane ki ye zanzeere,
todd ke udd chale
hum jeene apni zindagi,
iss zamane ko chod chale
(We break these chains of the world to fly away,
To live our life… we leave the world behind)

zaya yuhi na karo ye zindagi
zakhmo ko pyaar se bhardo
zamin se jude raho aur
zabardast udaan bharo
zahir karo apni pehchaan
Jee bhar ke Jee lo ye ek kimati zindagi.
(Do not just waste this life
Heal the wounds with love
Be in touch with the ground
and soar high above
Manifest your identity
Live this precious life to the fullest)

queendom

Quest for Queendom

Quench your Qualms

and Quibble not;

Quit to Quaver

and ignore the Quandary.

Start your Query

and Quest for truth …

then life will follow to the Quick

Do not be Quaint

nor be Quadruped;

Question deeply

and ponder your Quotes.

Find that Quality

in Queerest Quarters…

then you will get that Quid pro Quo

Embrace the Quirky

and do not Quip;

search for Quiet

and use your Quickness.

Quiz all Quantity

and Quite each thing…

then Queendom surely is to come…

Seasons of Awards :)

Inspiring Blog Award and a Versatile Blogger Award from Shilpi

Very Inspiring Blog Award from Rachna

Its always nice to get awarded for something, and even better when you don’t expect it at all. My heartfelt thanks to Shilpi and Rachna.

versatile blogger nominations

~ Thoughts on Versatile Blogger Award ~

The sheer sub-title of my blog – “versatility is not an over-rated virtue” explains my stand on this.

Everyone is special, unique and versatile. Everyone can multitask. It is just a matter of recognizing your self.

very inspiring blogger award

~ Thoughts on Inspiring Blog Award ~

There are two sides to the same coin, hence someone who inspires others is in turn inspired by someone else.

For many days now, I have been thinking, who inspires me? After a lot of thought I realized a lot of people and a lot of things inspire me.

So is it good or bad?
Am I easily inspired/manipulated or should I think I am surrounded by inspiring things by default.

Maybe it is a state of mind.

Many resolve to Gods and prayers when they’re low. I just look at people and things around me and it elevates my faith.

Even the feeling that I am inspiring inspires me!

NEW

New light of Life

New kiss of wife

Feels like New soul of mine

New breeze of air

New love of care

Feels like New prayer of mine

New sound of river

New charm of her

Feels like New luck of mine

New touch of flower

New windfall power

Feels like New destiny of mine

100th post

When I was told to start a blog in 2011, I had completely ignored that piece of advice, and my parents would agree I should have. As a favor and kick-start, a friend started my blog and published my then-most-recent poem as my first blog post:

https://sakshivashist.wordpress.com/2011/09/07/is-rishte-ko-kya-naam-doon/

I saw the blog, I saw the likes but nothing stirred inside me to go forward with it or write and publish more. Then a second poem was put up to inspire me.

https://sakshivashist.wordpress.com/2011/09/18/regrets/

I thought about it, nothing clicked. There was no time or will to sit and write a blog. And as a final effort to push me, this was published :

https://sakshivashist.wordpress.com/2011/10/11/shades-of-emotions-1/

After these 3 initial kicks for inspiration and motivation, there was a radio silence for almost an year (nine months to be precise). Later in 2012 – after my first post was published, I decided, Okay WTH let me have a look at how this WP works.

I looked. I liked. I published.

https://sakshivashist.wordpress.com/2012/07/26/i-n-s-p-i-r-e-d/

Unluckily no one pressed a “LIKE” on this. Ever.

Same thing happened with my next post :

https://sakshivashist.wordpress.com/2012/08/13/un-silsilon-ko/

No like. No views.

I was wondering was was going wrong. I started looking around at blogs of others. Left a few comments on the poems which I liked. Then the next poem, which was close to my heart, finally got some attention.

https://sakshivashist.wordpress.com/2012/08/29/final-departure/

I decided to buck up (coincidentally that was my next post) and yes, I got one more like and follow from last time. I got 4 likes. 😀

https://sakshivashist.wordpress.com/2012/08/29/buck-up/

For next 9 posts…I had 1-2-3 likes. And then the tenth one broke all records and was liked by 7 people!!

https://sakshivashist.wordpress.com/2012/09/12/a-call-from-conscience/

My first double digit likes came from a post which I din’t expect from – 30 bloggers :

https://sakshivashist.wordpress.com/2012/09/13/come-back-home/

Next few posts again had a dry spell. hardly more than 5-6 people stumbled upon my blog.

But after https://sakshivashist.wordpress.com/2012/09/24/engulfed/  – I never saw a post with a single digit like!

Even now these poems are the only ones which remain with minimum clicks and hits :

– buck up ! –
a heart not-so-strong
~ no more love ~
a victory story
*tick-tock*
It goes on-n-on…

Love You Are…

Love you are so very

Endearing, you have

Made my life to shine…

Is there any need to

Wonder why it is,

That I long to keep

You mine…

love you are 1

For you are so very

Precious, and as gentle

As a new days dawn…

Is there any good reason

To wonder, why I will

Never leave you long

For you are truly endearing

To me, and more precious

Than lovely gems…

love you are 2

And like a valuable buried

Treasure, I will always keep

Your love deep within.

For there is nothing in this

World, that can move my

Heart the way you do

That is why when I awaken

with the morning sun, my

Thoughts shall only always

Be of you.

A gem of a person who would uplift your spirits by his warm words and positive energy. Do visit his blog, my guarantee – you would want to visit it over and over again.
