I
Labzon ka asar hai ya
Aaj baatein aisehi bemisaal ho gayi
Kabhi lab sharmakar bhool gaye
Kabhi zabaan haal behaal ho gayi
II
Bebas hui dhadkan humari
Ummeed ne itna laachar kiya
Kuchh sapne hi toh dekhe the humne
Gunaah ismein kya kiya
III
Sapno ko mere piro ke aaj
Aangan mein aise saja lo
Thoda unhe dekh ke jee lo
Thoda paane ki chaah mein bita lo
IV
Kahin deep jale aangan mein
Toh kahin har shaam jaam bhare gaye
Par un lambe baaki peheron ka hum kya kare
Jo tera naam lete hue beet gaye

Well said, Sakshi. I did relish your poem.
Thank you so much Neelkanth!
Lovely pictures… and words as well!.
Thank you!
*correction: II, 3rd line :- “Kuch Sapne ‘hi’ to dekhe the humne”.. i guess so..
Thank you so much
It was a typing error!
hshs hs hshshs HAHAHAHA
huh..I tried to translate through Google Translate, and while it said: Swahili detected, it didn’t translate. Great pictures though, Sakshi, and correct Google’s deduction if wrong, please.
Even if I try Karen, I cannot translate this one.. others I still can, but these 4 lines of one shade of emotion is kind of a tough nut..
I’ll try again to bring out these emotions in the English language too. But no promises!
I look forward to it, if you attempt it, and you know what? Maybe the “lost in translation” part would add up to a whole different sentiment–or aspect of the same sentiment–once written in English….it’ll be a journey!
